Good location, free parking outside. Room was large enough for one night's stay. Breakfast was OK for the money.

Weather (nothing you can effect). Hoped for tea/coffee making in room (should have checked).

The very comfortable armchairs in the foyer. The friendly staff at breakfast time.

The fact that you had to go down steps to get the lift as I have a disability. That you had to go outside the front door to smoke as smoking was not allowed in the garden at the back.

While everyone was nice there was no personality in the hotel, no personal involvement with us at all.

easiness of booking. Welcome e-mail from hotel plus confirmation of arrival by phone.Very pleasant reception on arrival and during stay. friendly. Good choice of breakfast. Lovely pots of tea.
