The rudeness of staff, the inability for the wireless internet to connect in rooms on the 2nd floor let alone the 8th meaning the need to use the laptop in the cold stairwell. Building works starting at 8 every morning resulting in early wake ups on a hopeful romantic holiday. The list goes on. |
| If I had a greater grasping of the French language I would have happily not paid, due to the fact that our stay was so atrocious and as a journalist I will be voicing this opinion shortly. |

Friendliness of staff; all speak English; good cleaning of bathroom daily. The room appeared to be non-smoking (there were warnings about the danger of smoking in that room). The tv. The floor I was on was relatively quiet. Situation near Gare de l'Est. |
Floor of room was not clean. Poor ventilation, I had to leave the window open, which meant letting in the noise from the street. Room didn't have any fire escape and was situated such that in case of fire in the hotel, I would be trapped. Poor bedding. The pigeons on my window ledge. |
| Staying in Paris is expensive and given the price of my stay and the quality of the room and the service, I am overall pleased. |
