The lady at the desk was beyond helpful at suggesting things to do and where to go even on a day when everything was closed. Loved going around the city thanks to her help. And impressed and both receptionists' use of English. Also very helpful with us on our last day with our bags and getting us a taxi.
Out of the four hotels I stayed at during this trip, this hotel had average internet connection which was appreciated. |
Cleaning staff entered our room and cleaned up after we expressly left the 'do not disturb' sign on the door. I do not care if it was left on all day. That means for the entire day I do not want you in my room.
The pool and hot tub -esque pool were cold.
Breakfast was bread. All bread. Eggs were actually inedible mush one morning.
All of the wait staff are black. Seriously? I mean...I'm from America and even I was shocked to see all of the upper positions held by white women and all of the lower positions held by black women. Not cool.
And the key to the door! Why the goodness does it have to be a giant stick of metal?? That weighed down my purse for the entire day! It's uncomfortable and heavy and beyond unnecessary. Was very angry to have to carry that around everywhere. |
| Would have liked all the details up front, in every hotel I stayed in during that trip I had to make multiple trips to the desk to find out information like check out times, breakfast times, internet codes, etc.
Very nicely located. |

we loved the breakfast. the cleanliness and the comfortable mattress. Also great location. |
Although it was stated on our confirmation. Our experience is that most small european hotels include breakfast in their rates. When we checked in and witnessed others checking in, the hotel staff goes to great length to tell you where and when breakfast is. NOWHERE is it stated how MUCH breakfast is in the hotel. It is on our reservation receipt but we reserved our room 6 weeks ahead of arrival. IT really should be made more clear either verbally when you check in or noted in writing by the breakfast spread. |
| We felt very misled by the breakfast charges and unfortunately that was the final memory of our hotel stay. |

Tranquillité et calme de l'hôtelen général |
Chambre un peu sombre, car donnant sur une cour intérieure - odeur de fumée de bois brûlé (pizzeria) avec la fenêtre ouverte - essayez de changer l'ascenseur ( lent et vétuste) |
