I knew that the hotel was going to be good from reviews I read on Trip Adviser, but I did not think that it would be as beautiful as it was. The hotel interior is simply stunning, the staff very friendly and helpful, the room was cool, quiet and comfortable and the pusher area is very well presented with excellent attention to detail. The meal at the hotel was amongst the best I've ever had, the waiting on staff were very attentive and the sommelier picked out some good wines to compliment our courses. The cheese chariot is truly something to behold although it could probably do with some bigger wheels.

I was unsure about the cobbled bathroom to begin with, but once I got under the powerful shower it simply didn't matter. The drop off was a little awquard but I suppose there's nothing you can do about this as you're restricted by the width of the street.

I wonderful stay in a beautiful hotel. Swimming at the gorge was great as was paddling a canoe down the river.

Très bon restaurant, rapport qualité prix correct, les mets sont inoubliables...

Logés dans la chambre 5, exigüe, bruyante ( bruit d'un compresseur en permanence), mauvaise insonorisation

Allez y pour le restaurant, de plus, espaces communs charmants, une somptueuse terrasse dans un petit jardin ombragé. Il semblerait que toutes les chambres soient différentes, évitez la n°5 ...

not a lot

Rude welcome and attempt at self-justification by the young receptionist. A seriously bad start to our visit. He urgently needs training in customer care and welcome techniques.

2011 Michelin Guide entry was seriously misleading on location and prices.
